Study overview
This report evaluates photogrammetric reconstruction as a way to locate an Open-LIFU transducer housing relative to MRI anatomy. A mannequin with a known housing position provides a reference for comparing the reconstructed position.
The workflow combines phone image capture, surface reconstruction, and alignment of the resulting mesh with MRI and a model of the transducer housing. The draft compares online and offline reconstruction workflows.
Scope of the evidence
The experiment evaluates localization on a mannequin under the tested capture and registration conditions. It does not establish human targeting accuracy. Numerical findings will be summarized after the authors reconcile the sample counts and error descriptions in the working draft.
